We visited Curt's family in Utah for Easter and spring break. We attended Peyton (back row in the middle) 's baptism. Ashley (backrow on the right) also cebrated her birthday. We had a great time visiting and spending time together.

ユタ州のカートに実家に復活祭と春休みをかねて訪問しました。ペイトン（後列真中）のバプテスマに出席し、アシュリー（後列右）のお誕生日をお祝いしました。皆で楽しい時間を過ごしました。

It took forever to update this blogsite and I have a lot of drafts that are not published. Some are too old to publish so I will post just the important ones. So here I go....

ブログの更新をするのにずいぶんと時間がたってしまいました。下書きはたくさんあるのですが公開していないものばかりです。古すぎる内容もあるので重要なものだけにします。

Alyssa Mitsuko Bagley was born in November 18th, 2008, 6lbs 14oz. 20.5 inches. 　Annika loves her little sister. Alyssa loves to watch Annika plays. Alyssa is a good-natured smiley baby.

アリッサ充子バグリーは２００８年１１月１８日に生まれました。誕生時の体重は3125g. 身長は52cm。アニカは新しい妹が大好きです。アリッサはアニカが遊んでいるのを見るのが大好きです。アリッサは温厚でいつもニコニコ笑顔の赤ちゃんです。

It's a girl!

Here is the reason we were not able to celebrate Shichi-go-san and to visit Japan in November. The miracle happened again!! We are expecting a baby girl! Her Due date is November 24th.

１１月の七五三や日本へ行くことができなくなった理由はこれです。奇跡は再び起こりました！女の子の赤ちゃんが生まれます。予定日は１１月２４日です。

Disney Trip
January 26th - February 3rd, 2008

Curt's mother, Lorraine was very kind to invite all of her children and their families on a Disney Cruise in Florida. We decided to leave a few days early to enjoy Disney World. We enjoyed our 1st Disney trip and spending time with Curt's family.

カートの母、ロレインがフロリダのディズニークルーズに彼女の子供たち全員とその家族を招待してくれました。私たちは数日早くディズニーワールドにも滞在しました。初めてのディズニー旅行とカートの家族との時間を満喫しました。

Annika had her 1st haircut at the Magic Kingdom. She received a Mickey Mouse hat that is stitched "1st haircut" on the back, a certificate of bravery to bear with scissors and a whole bunch of Mickey stickers all over her. She slept with the Mickey hat for a several months.

アニカはマジックキングダム内の床屋さんで始めて髪の毛を切りました。そこで裏に「1st Haircut」とかいてあるミッキーマウスの耳の帽子と髪の毛にはさみをあてられてもがんばったための賞状をもらい、たくさんのミッキーのシールを体中に貼ってもらいました。そのミッキーの帽子は数ヶ月間寝るときにも一緒でした。

Shichi-Go-San Celebration 七五三

May 17th, 2008

Shichi-Go-San is a celebration of growth of children as they turn 3 and 7 years old for girls or 3 and 5 years old (or just 3 years old only) for boys. It is normally celebrated in November, but we decided to coordinate it with Sy's Aunt Yaeko's visit from Japan.　

七五三は子供の成長をお祝いする日で女の子は３歳と七歳、男の子は３歳と５歳（または５歳のみ）の時に行います。通常は１１月にお祝いしますが誠子の叔母八重子が日本から訪問する日と合わせる事にしました。（他にも理由があるのですが・・・それはまた後ほど。）

Annika's Shichi-Go-San costume is what Sy wore for her 3 year old Shichi-Go-San celebration. The photographer super imposed Sy's family crest from her kimono and Aunt Yaeko's fan in the background.

アニカの七五三の着物は誠子が３歳のときの七五三の着物です。写真屋さんが誠子の着物についていた家紋と八重子おばさんの扇をスーパーインポーズしてバックにつけてくれました。

Annika enjoyed playing with her friends who came to celebrate this occasion with us.
アニカはこのお祝いに来てくれた友達と楽しく遊びました。
